Description:
The Li river runs through the Guangxi region, through the tall karst mountains, along 80 kilometres from Guilin to Yangshuo. Should you hike along the banks of the river in Yangshuo after sunset, you will occasionally be able to see the fishermen coming to fish with their cormorants, sitting on bamboo rafts, with oil lamps providing light. In this quiet night setting, the fishermen's nameless figures, blend in harmoniously with the shadows of the karst mountains, towering in the background.
