Description:
The Naga Sadhu doesn’t become one overnight. It is in fact, a long process which involves looking for a guru throughout hundreds of existing sites (Akharas). When a guru accepts him, the Naga Sadhu-to-be will go through an initiation ceremony along with several other hundreds during one of the gatherings. His head is shaved completely, representing the last time he’ll ever cut his hair, and he is then eligible to begin a full life journey towards the pursuit of the enlightenment.
