Great grandmother keeps the spirit while family works in the field

Constant process of sowing, planting, harvesting and repeating. The work is very physical, hard and tiring and most of it falls on women's shoulders. Nevertheless it's a family task that mostly falls on the women, but they keep high spirits. Although men also play a role mainly in plowing, with the help of the buffalo, before sowing and after harvesting, and sometimes the whole family enlists for harvesting, a scene of a bending woman carrying a baby on her back in a water-flooded rice field is a very common sight.
