Epoi , Chochan Tabay's nephew

Description:

Allegedly, according to the plan each day should have been similar to the previous one. Wake up alarm at 6 am, while the outside was still in its dark freezing cold mode. After a quick breakfast, departure for a long journey of about 30km, to the next camp spot of the night. As a companion I was given the opportunity to walk along with the whole herd or advance in a motorized vehicle alongside them. Throughout the five days of migration, we met very few migrants since some 400 families also made their journey on a similar path and pace as us, and so we hardly ran into them. Nevertheless, not for one moment did a feeling of loneliness or insecurity sneak into my heart in these areas where it is said everyone will come to your rescue if in need of help. On a few occasions, we passed by a home of one of the nomadic families. The houses were open to all passers-by and offered great hospitality. We were given hot tea bowls with goat or camel’s milk, plenty of food and had a place to sleep, if needed.
