Description:
Minus thirty degrees Celsius on the computer screen, in my cosy home, did not look so threatening to me. However, in this territory with the additional cold breeze, the word “cold” took on a whole new meaning. My fingers and toes froze in an irritating speed and the lack of sensation was accompanied by a strong pain, as though they were being mutilated by giant claws. Photography, which is usually fun and simple, became difficult and cumbersome. Every once in a while, I found myself running towards the old Russian Uaz model pick-up truck that functioned as an incredible workhorse in this rough terrain. I advanced motorized until my body returned to function normally.
