The most common transport vehicle in Hanoi, the scooter

Description:

Hanoi, the largest city in North Vietnam, became the capital of the entire country, and Saigon, the largest city of the south, was renamed into Ho Chi Minh City, in honor of the leader of Communist North Vietnam, who is considered the father of the modern nation. Both cities are crowded and industrialized and with millions of motorcyclists, the visitors are greeted with a thick cloud of air pollution that requires wearing a face mask to prevent airway pollution. Nevertheless, even though the state officially advocates socialism and the Communist Party rules a single regime, some of these principles of the system of government have been neglected since the late 1990s. Today, Vietnam is relatively open to the influence of the West, which is reflected in large economic growth, the entry of social networks and Western media and an increase in the number of tourists visiting each year.
