Description:
A visit to the rice fields is a magical and authentic experience because of the rice terraces stretching to the edge of the horizon, glowing as they meet with the sun's rays which are peeking through the clouds, and because of the only way of arrival there, riding a motorcycle and embracing a local young driver. The Sapa area is home to five ethnic groups that differ in dress, tradition, and dialect. The mountainous town of Sapa is located in northwest Vietnam, near the Chinese border and is considered the center of the Lao Cai Province. Housed on the Hoang Lien Son mountain range, the livelihood of locals works mainly on processing of yellow and green rice terraces that surround them on every side.
