The bull race at the Sene Dolta Festival

Description:

The Khmer people from An Giang province near the Cambodian border hold an annual festival dedicated to their ancestors and is called the Sene Dolta Festival. The competitions take place around a circular track in a slippery rice field near Tinh Bien, near Ro Pagoda. Two cows are bound together by the field plowing facility on which the young rider stands. The competition takes place between two pairs. In the first round they try to maintain stability and easy running pace, but in the second round the competition reaches a climax and along the last 120 meters every rider rushes the cows at the highest possible speed to the finish line. Mud splashes all over the audience, and the winner at the end of the day wins a respectable cash prize.
