The Sene Dolta Festival

Description:

Khmer Krom people ethnically belong to Cambodian Khmer, but live in the Kampuchea Krom region, which is the southwestern part of Vietnam. The meaning of Krom in the Khmer language is below, so even though they are dark-skinned and look identical like two drops of water to their Khmer brothers who live in Cambodia, the word Krom is added to geographically differentiate and indicate that they are Vietnamese and live south of Cambodia. The 89,000-square-foot area belonged to historic Cambodia until its final annexation to Vietnam in the early 18th century.
