In the fishing village of Bac Lieu, women are engaged in weaving and repairing fishing nets while the men go fishing. The nets come in a variety of colors blue, green, gray, etc. and are adapted to different areas of the river where the water's color varies depending on the depth of the water. The fishermen know where to adjust the variety of nets so that the mesh color blends with the water's color and becomes less noticeable to the eye.
